I first met Rachael and Oliver in their local park back in 2020 where we photographed their engagement. Quite some months have passed since and we have celebrated their official marriage, out in the rain, on a grassy hillside watching the delicious clouds swirl and swoon around the distant mountains. The Bower Estate was the perfect backdrop for their wet winter wedding, providing those moody rich colours that were set off perfectly with Rach's blush and olive green palette. As guests ran for cover of the clear marquee, Rach and Ollie stood in the open air and let the rain fall on them, they didn't once let the weather change their happiness and they embraced the absolute magic that only a rainy wedding day can bring.
Rach's bouquet was a beautiful tribute to the women in her family, and as she walked the aisle to het groom, the women stoped and added a rose to her bundle signifying the support and love that has shaped her into the person she is.
Rach + Ollie's wedding had everything a happy little photog wants - exceptionally kind couple, tonnes of mood, and meaningful real moments.
